I agree, there are many I’d rather have had, including Gruden. Tennessee’s AD and boosters shot themselves in the foot when the in house fighting became public. It really is pretty pathetic. I’m hopeful regardless. The only other way would be to just stop watching college football, as I couldn’t cheer for any other team.

I'd be happy with Pruitt HC/Martin OC.. but with that said, although I'm on board with Pruitt, for those still holding out hope there's been some rumblings (not sure if warranted or not) that all this has been a smokescreen - no clue for whom however. Time will tell, think we finally get an answer tomorrow.

Well that was probably the ship sinking. The meltdown was intense and it took one post and it exploded after that...

Who really knows besides PF and the coaches he has talked to.

I am still on the ship...I'll go down with that ship. The only reason is the captain is AV and until he tells us to abandon ship I'll hold the rudder till we hit the bottom.

Having said that..it's getting harder and harder to put the orange and white on. I'm not to the point that I'm setting a bonfire to my gear, but it's hard to watch a team that I grew up just settle. Go ahead and tell me that Pruitt is not settling. I'll wait..............

It's not exciting. It's not a name brand. It's buying a knockoff Rolex. You might say that's it's a home run hire. It might have the distance to be a home run but it's in foul territory. Gruden was a grand slam IMO.

1st time in years I've seen the official Gruden thread so far down the list here. I guess is Gruden till it isn't; however, Jeremy Pruitt seems to be pulling more a$$ than a toilet seat right now on VN. Dilly Dilly

Hope Pruitt is down for a dynamic OC from the Chip, Petrino, etc tree. Don't want some Bielema/Les/failure oc. Gimme DT qb and big ball offense with a clampdown defense and we can shock Bama or UGA.

Good morning all! Everyone needs to calm down and see where this ship takes us. At this point, VN, media.....it's anyone's guess. Surely we find out in a few hours.
