I think Pruitt would come in a pull off some big signing day surprises, kill recruiting in year two, have the top class towards the end of year 3 heading to signing day, but he then gets canned for an affair with a student.

His age, maybe, but he's a little over 4 years older than Steele, who seems to be the choice, and he has a MUCH better track record. It just doesn't make any sense.

He met with Fulmer and Bev.

He skipped an awards ceremony to meet with UT.

Tucker is the best choice left. He has worked under Saban, Diantonio and tressell. Saban hired him three different times! He has a ton of experience as an NFL coordinator. Now took an SEC team to a championship.

Lets get him

Miles wants the job but apparently Fulmer doesn't want him😔 I am shocked that he thinks this is going to be accepted after the outrage with Schiano and Doerean. And the boosters- all of this to end up with a worse hire than what Haslam and Currie?

Tee is far more than a consolation. He’s one of if not the best recruiter in the country. Steele is 60 years old. Maybe he coaches for 5 years and Tee takes over once he’s experienced. I think that could actually work out really well.

Steele’s record at Baylor doesn’t mean too much to me. Tennessee is a different caliber of job where he can hire ace staff members and recruit really well. But he’s going to have to be allowed to prove he can do that. If the fans don’t support him then he will definitely fail. I’m willing to trust Fulmer and his hire and give it a couple years. BUT that’s all contingent on the staff he surrounds himself with.

Don’t remember him having issues with anyone other than Richt. Which was odd considering Richt money whipped him to pry him away from FSU.
