Maybe we could get Brown to be HC and then hire an all star staff of college football broadcast analysts to be position coaches.

I'd be good with Venables. High energy guy with great recruiting ties would be interested to see who his offensive coordinator would be.

Somebody help. Talk me into why Venables would be a great hire. Recruiting? Who would he hire? Was he great before Clemson or did he walk into something that was already built up?

I’m drunk as hell. Drank a pint of bourbon tonight but I think we have a coach by this time tomorrow and I think it’s somebody decent.

As a fan base we are so beaten down that we are hoping for decent and have turned to drinking lol

He won a NC at OU and coached in 3 other title games there I believe, for 4 championship games before he ever got to Clemson. The last game for Clemson before Venables got there they gave up 70 points and Kevin Steele was fired.

He was great at Oklahoma. Clemson’s D was a mess when he arrived. He turned Dabo into a top 10 coach.
