I feel like Leach has a really high ceiling here. He's winning games by straight up outcoaching the other guys. Did it at TTU and is doing it at Washington State.

When's the last time we outcoached someone? Kiffin is supposedly an offensive genius, but Mike Leach is THE offensive genius. He was the offensive genius when Chip Kelly was unknown. And he's still doing it. Defenses haven't just "figured him out" like people worried about Chip Kelly. Leach is also a proven head coach with like 17 years of experience. Built two programs up from nothing.

It's crazy how this guy is still in Pullman. I might be more excited about a Leach hire than a Gundy hire. Leach's upside is huge and we have no idea what it even is. He has never had this caliber of athletes and resources at his disposal. We will go into every game with an advantage if we are matched up closely in talent because he's going to outcoach the other guy.
