exactly....beat Stanford, USC, Oregon and all 3 would have beat our ass. He did with low rated classes trying to get kids to a sh*tty town in washington. What the hell is that guy talking about?

Also lost to Eastern Washington last year and Portland State the year before. It works both ways. I was just referring to your made up stat that they pounded the ball against Stanford. Obviously they won, but what you said just wasn't true to validate your point.

Last bit of info:
Wash. State ran the ball 24.5 times a game, (rank 130...yikes).
But...Miami 112, Purdue 106, Stanford 105, Penn State 100.

Yeah, they didn't run it a lot, but a lot of good teams and good coaches didn't as well.

Running the ball is overrated.

he will have defenses trying to defend every blade of grass on the field.....meanwhile we been watching butch jones offense for 5 years. Just give the guy a shot. If you ever were behind butch how could you be against this guy from day 1? atleast he can coach.

Calling Ron Swanson.

Any good info tonight?

Sorry, guys had a long day of work and drank a few glasses of bourbon and passed out. Had a dream we offered Mike Leach and woke up to....we offered Mike Leach?!?!

Please be true. If anything it'll be entertaining, in the press conferences and on the field.

Do you want fun or do you want to win?

We have had no fun and we have had no win. We would've got drilled by Stanford and USC this year. Heck, we got drilled by Vandy too. You are acting like our D was so good the last two years. You had one job man. Come on.

Edit: You really are a good poster but wrong this time. Would've rather had several other guys but Leach is a GREAT hire at this time and he won't kneel at the feet of Hasbum.

No bamboo reference?

who won the game? we beat UMASS by 4 and went winless in the SEC. This isnt your 1998 Vols.

I still prefer Miles and Sumlin to Leach, but I'm ready to ride with the pirate if that's what it comes down to.

Washington State was an absolute mess of a program when he took over. Totally dead. He's made them really competitive and has beaten some really good teams.

I mean, if we hire him, it's going to suck when we lose to ETSU next year, but when we drill Florida it'll be hilarious.

Hey Ron anything on TOS from Hubbs or anyone?

QD gets the ball out of his hands quickly and that is the way that offense works. I see it clearly as a better fit for QD than JG

If we can get our WR to create separation then we will be fine. It would eliminate the pass rush, which is one of the strengths of the SEC defense. Our OL will be our weakest link too.

No way Sumlin comes here. I'd be good with Miles, but no guarantee he's better.
