I'm no Timberlake fan myself, but that's two completely different ends of the spectrum right there. I never thought I would see those two names in the same sentence.
now I like James taylors music more than justin timberlake.... but Timberlake is just as, and probably more, talented than Taylor. The man can do everything.

dickens you know nothing of what you speak. Timberlake doesn't come close to the real JT in song writing, playing instruments or bringing the two together.

Oh come on, now I don't like him, but that isn't exactly fair... how many years does it take for an album to go Diamond? Def Leppard and AC/DC have them and it took forever.

1) Taylors songwriting was incredibly simplistic. Take some music theory classes.
2) I guarantee you Timberlake plays as many, if not more instruments than Taylor.
3) I'd be willing to bet you don't know any of Timberlakes music besides his crap with NSync and SexyBack without googling.
1) how long did it take Taylor to earn them?
3) I can think of multiple people more talented, and better songwriters than Taylor who will never have a certified platinum album.
also who cares how simplistic Taylor's music was? For the record, i know i'm just a dumb hillbilly to you dickens, but I have taken several music classes, including music theory classes. What matters are how well songs adapt over time. Justin's early music sure is considered great stuff today. I mean everyone loves the NSync stuff.
