I am starting to hate John Gruesome. Every 4-5 years we have to endure his dance of the 7 veils so that he can pump up his apparently horrible self-image. He pretends to be interested in saving UT FB , so that all the simple people in East Tn will join the chorus in singing his praises and extolling his incomparable skills .

I’ll be totally honest. We are gonna set our program back another 5 years with this hire. It’s sad and disgusting.

The only realistic candidate left, that can produce a winning product, is Kiffin.

I'd think there are other realistic candidates out there, but they've just been shut out.

Busy day today. Won’t be able to be on here much but I wanted to at least say this, cohesion is starting to breakdown now that it’s calmed down a little. I fear we’re going to slowly go back to the way it was before. In order for us to win this struggle, we’re going to have to keep giving it to the AD. Turn it up!!!

I would respectfully disagree. The biggest detriment to the football program is Currie (and others in the chain of command) and Haslam.

I do not disagree with you there, that they are the BIGGEST detriment.

This is good news, not embarrassing! We have to cut the head off before we can get this proud program back on its feet.

If anything, no one wants to work under Currie or Haslam.

I read Rev's post about the phone calls earlier, I think Beav knew what he was alluding to.

If MIT would be surprised by Currie/Haslem sneaking in a hire in the middle of the night, then he and his team are still terribly underestimating who they are up against.

I would be surprised if any coach accepted a job offer from Currie at this point.

I agree. The problem is most Tennessee fans have to work during the day when all this stuff is happening and we can't participate as much we would like to. :sad:

I believe Erik Ainge said he would gather up a few old VFL players and they would coach for the interim... I’m kind of thinking that might be fun to watch at this point.
