Question: Are the small business owners and hotel owners of east TN beating the doors down at the mayors and AD offices. It seems to me a lot more ppl will be affected than just the university. I like on the West side and haven't seen this addressed. Years of lurking, first time posting. Ya'll are a great bunch and give a retired old man something to look foreward to everyday
Man, it is slow in here, where is everyone....
Here is my thoughts this morning. At this point, the best thing that can happen is that every single person turns us down.
That may be the only way of getting rid of the rot inside this administration.
I think you could be right.
Sometimes, the failure has to be severe for the people in charge to "get it." It might set us back in the short term, but face it, there isn't much further we can be set back (we just went winless in the SEC). It would be worth it to finally see positive change that will set the program up for sustained success.
. See attachedI'm fed up. I'm tired. I'm pissed. I'm at a loss of words. I went to bed angry and in disbelief that we're in this mess and I woke up even angrier. I did my part Sunday by calling Currie's office when it was posted, now it's time to make another call. Can someone post the number we need to call to complain? Is it the athletic office, alumni affairs (which I am an alum), or a completely different department? Please and thank you. It's time to end this mess today.
My sources (who I trust and have have never let me down) are saying all of the Schiano and Gundy talk is just a smokescreen. They are doing this to drag the coaching search out to allow Gruden to finish this season of MNF. Last night at the bar, Beav, Atlvol and I discussed if we should release this information and we decided it was time to calm everyone down and let them know Gruden is still coming. Currie and company are getting huge raises after this for playing their act so well.
(My font looks blue and I can't edit it)
haslam and currie acted beyond irrationally with schiano. Hence why people even as powerful as atlanta vol were caught off guard. Haslam knows the massive financial impact but either doesnt care or doesnt comprehend (hard to tell which with him).
Fatigue is setting in.
Also I've talked with posters who are getting tired of all the conspiracy talk and have decided to spend their energy elsewhere until something solid comes out. Hard to blame people when there's almost nothing in the mainstream media about what might be going on behind the scenes.
but why, if this is his alma mater, why does he want to see it be this dumpster fire that it is, for the last 10 years it been bad.. If money is no object, then get the best, and he would make more money
