Maybe at the end of the day this is God's way of putting Tee on the Hill and letting us all party as we say eff it.

I mean I could watch a bad Tee Martin team a hell of a lot easier than a Steel, Bobo, etc.

The saddest part is I am pretty confident Tee would win and win big. It would take a year or two for him to figure it out but dammit he would get it figured out. He would have all the resources and fan support that he would need. UT has become infected with people that don’t give an ish about the school or what it means to the people in this state. It’s one of the great tragedies in sports

That's what I'd do. I'd have Fulmer or Peyton make the call and say "What's it going to take to make a deal?" Then I'd make him say no. Every indication is he wants to go home to Nebraska, but let's see how much. Take Currie out of the equation. His aloof arrogance isn't playing well with people.

I honestly am on board with making Hoke interim and trying again next year. I don't like the idea of hiring a google coach that's going to be fired in 3 years, with yet another hefty buyout.

I thought we had hit rock bottom following the loss to Vandy. Wow!! Was I wrong.

At this point, I think we just need to bring Tee in and give him our total support. There will be some ups and downs, but at least we will be Vols going up and down. Give Tee a contract similar to "that guy formally from Penn State" with a staff budget of $6+ million to bring the absolute best staff we can get. So what if we need to pay through the nose. Just get this embarrassment over with.

Why didn't we just offer Peterson $10 million?

Fire Curry and put Fulmer in as the AD.

Can we not get Blackburn as AD?

I would also throw a bunch of money at Frost, but let Tee know that if he turns us down, we will give the keys to him. We would certainly want the best staff we could get for Tee.
