Football Scoop says we are meetin with a morris tommorrow. I'm down with Morris if he brings a good D.C. Like I think he can. His staff at TN will likely be different than that at SMU. His offense will 100 percent work here and we obviously have seen it gives Bama and Kirby fits last two years. All he needs is the defensive side of the ball which is hard to compare with lack of talent st SMU. He has doodoo at SMU yet has one of top WRs for draft again. WRU would be back that's for sure because all those clemson WRs were his

Venables has already said he's not leaving for any HC job. It has to be a perfect place that he's comfortable with. He does not care about the money at all

I'll never be a fan of another SEC team. The only other team I've ever supported was USF because I lived in Tamp Bay and they are not SEC and they were a scrappy new program that played their ass off under Leavitt. It is blasphemy to be a bandwagon fan of any other SEC team..eff em all.

Wtf!!!!!!!!! Fire his ass now. He is not a salesman. You want something you have to go get it and do what it takes. Jeez I kinda hope Schiano bones him for his contact and we can fire Currie for gross negligence

Yeah, I am warming to the idea of Pruitt. Has the brashness and moxie like Kiffin. Recruits well and would toughen up this team. I doubt it will happen though and probably for the best as he is a wild card for sure.

He'll probably turn us down once he talks to Currie. Seems to be the trend for any coach who isn't morally bankrupt.

I think we may have to fire Currie. I'm sure Gundy probably was aware of Currie at Kansas State and his quarles with Snyder. I don't think anyone wants to work for the Jack wad.

sounds like Chavis.. Never wanted to be a head coach.

I'll give Steele a chance, he's a VOL. Maybe he can get some good people around him.

I'm just sad.

I can get on board with Morris cause he will recruit at a high level and he is the one behind that Clemson offense. He turned just a terrible situation at SMU into a reasonable one but this would be a big jump but if he stayed at Clemson we would be saying he needed HC experience

Hire chad Morris or Tee and get him a good DC.

Be ok with 5-7 to 8-4 for the next couple of years. That's where we are right now

This. Venables is what you would call atypical. He probably won't take an HC until Kansas State opens up. It's not about money. It's about fit for him.
