Honest question, going to sound silly but what team could you adopt? Honest, I know I will never feel the love I do for UT but I could take a break from UT and follow a team like LSU.

Don’t get me wrong. Not give money or even feel the same but simply take a break. Learn about another team and follow them and check back in with UT in a few years.

LSU would be interesting to me.

I’ve always liked Michigan. I lived there for a couple years. Went to a game at the big house because everyone should if they get the chance. Reminds me a lot of Tennessee with its tradition, large fan base and what not.

NO reason we can't hire venables now. There is only one head coach that would be a terrific hire (Taggert). Out of all the coordinators it baffles me that they won't go after Venables for 5 or 6 million he is the best qualified out there that's left.

I agree with Jimmy. I know it's not popular right now, but I think Steele would be fine. I'd bet good money he'd do better than Jones. Great recruiter, great defensive football coach, would likely bring a really good staff as well.

My only worry about him is how the stress would get to him. I can't recall all the details but I think he had passing out spells on game days at one point in his career. He sat out a few years and I think that was corrected but I worry about it

Venables played for Bill Snyder and first coached under him. He ain't coming anywhere near Currie. Snyder hates Currie.
