A little bit of good news. I can say, that the Mike Gundy push is being led by Fulmer and other boosters. Not Currie and Haslam.

What would you think of Scott Frost as HC and T Martin as OC? I think they would be awesome for the program.

Hmmm???

At the end of the article "Tennessee has also reached out to Purdue head coach Jeff Brohm and Auburn defensive coordinator Kevin Steele about the Vols' head coaching job, according to sources."

Why would Steele not take it? That would be huge for him.

Jamie Satterfield is on Knoxnews Facebook video right now detailing what Haslam said during one of the Pilot "training" sessions where they were instructed how to commit fraud.

If this is true, Jimmy can't avoid indictment. Which would cause him to lose the Browns, or at least transfer ownership. And should be enough to get him to back down completely from anything at UT. It would ruin the Haslam name.

You are definitely closer to the situation out there than me.
So, you may be right.

I can't specifically say what I know, but that last raise he got tapped OSU out.

If T. Boone kicked in to keep him, that's a different ball game. But right now, they cannot match what UT can offer.

Guys, it's important to keep the focus on replacing this AD and the Haslam influence on our program. I see lots of people chattering about Lane Kiffin, but we can debate his pros or cons later.

Fact is, no coach will have sustained success with the snakes still in play.

We MUST clean house FIRST, and we can't get sidetracked from that, even by something as important as a new coach. We aren't talking about saving a recruiting class or a season anymore, we are fighting for the whole enchilada.

Is the cheese on or off?

Asking for a friend.

You can shoot the messenger if you wish. Was just told by a member of the AD it’s Gundy. I don’t know anything further and he is someone I would put a fair amount of trust in. Maybe his intel is not correct only passing on what I’ve been told.

At this point it is a better hire than I expected and a take ... hope he can bring a decent Defensive mind with him

I don’t know anything further than I got a call was told it’s Gundy no details call was less than 10 seconds

Gundy is not a bad hire. He has a proven track record. With a great DC, I could see him being very successful here.

Still need to get Haslams away from UT, but that is a different discussion.

I don’t understand why, if Gruden had signed and had been interested, wouldn’t they go back and follow that up instead of hunting for someone else. Makes no sense to me if Currie and Haslam is not involved.
