So I have a serious question? What if this is all one big giant smokescreen?

At one time someone speculated that Currie was a slick individual. What if he never contacted Shiano? What if he leaked it to his staff to find out who wasn’t loyal?

Think about it. No comment from Shiano or gruden in all of this and a half hearted bull**** letter from Davenport and Currie.

Then everyone said gruden signed the 14th. Tell me how any of this makes sense lol. I’m so lost right now

None of it makes sense but Currie was in Columbus with Schiano. Currie never called Gruden. That's what happened. There is no smokescreen (unless you count anyone associated with UT AD pretending to be interested in Gruden).

Good morning and agreed in that we’ll have a better handle on what’s going down. Today we’ll find out if Currie is going to remain in control. A coach is going to want to know that the person who chooses him is going to be sticking around.

And one last thing about Kiffin, and then it is all back to Gruden talk.

Kiffin would not, and I repeat, WOULD NOT, almost get bested by teams of lesser talent, or even come close to getting beat by lower quality opponents...unlike some other person that pretended to be a football coach.

I don't think Currie is going anywhere. Sure doesn't seem like it. We're not going to end up with a coach anybody likes unfortunately. I hope I'm wrong.

Anyone with a brain agrees, but the last decade has tarnished our name with the masses. The right coach could bring us back quickly, but I'm just afraid it's not going to happen at this point. I have zero faith in the current administration after Sunday.

Each of these facts you presented just shows how truly out of touch the national experts are with regards to UT. They really have no clue and do not even try to educate themselves on the matter. So I say to heck with them. We dont need them anyway.

IM not sure about top five but the mid state are is growing faster than almost anywhere in our recruiting region. In state talent is better than ever.

What's funny to me is how hypocritical the media is. They are bashing us for jumping on the revolt bandwagon Sunday saying it spread like the plague, but the media does the same exact thing. One person comes out and gives an opinion and all of the other talking heads take it as fact and pile on. It's the current world we live in unfortunately.

If Gruden is really interested in the job, then have him make a public statement and force their hand. Seems logical to me.

Which is why this isn’t believable. Gruden, Peyton, or one of the main boosters could leak this and there would be an angry mob ready to remove Currie from his office in minutes. Or he would just resign or be forced to get on board. But the Haslams are scary, so everyone remains quiet and hangs the fans out to dry? If that’s the case, they’re as guilty as the Haslams and Currie.

Which is why someone either in the AD or booster side needs to leak all the dirty laundry on Currie and Haslams about what went down.

This perception of the fans needs to change, and until someone grows a pair and does something like this, we will continued to be vilified on every national sports show out there.

The story needs to be shifted off the fans, and onto the people who caused this mess, Currie and Haslam.

I’d take him without question, except he has to do to FAU what he did to us, to come back to us. Not sure if that feels all warm and fuzzy.

This is the normal time for coaches to take new jobs. The issue when Kiffin left for USC wasn't that he that he went after only one year it was he left in mid January leaving us to find a replacement and have that replacement try and keep out incoming class together in just a few weeks.

I would add Louisiana to that list as well.

Tennessee has more 4 or 5 star recruits by a few than Louisiana for the next few recruiting classes. We are on the same level for sure though.
