He squished the rumors in 2012 straight up. Why not now? His son is at UT, hes been spending more time in Knoxville than in the past.

You dont think he would at least make a short statement to put out the flames? At least because of his son?

We need boosters to go to the media. I'm doing all I can via social media but I'm a nobody and its frustrating the hell out of me because if every vol fan knew the whole story we could be sitting on cloud 9 in 5 hours.

This situation is ripe for exposure and exposing what has happened.

I'm saying exactly what you just said; UT athletics, as a whole, has to be reduced to shambles where the only contributors are those who are already making the hefty "donations" are the only ones that are left. Until then, the sum of the lesser just spooning in whatever garbage is placed in front of them will not change anything. It is only when said lesser sum is removed (or at least threatened to be), and UT athletics no longer becomes profitable, that a serious change will be made.

This university, that supposedly educates people, does not know a thing about public relations. How about expectations management? Seriously, a school famous for astronauts and high level politics can’t find a way to speak to its fans? What a disaster. Embarrassing really.

He's nowhere close to being the best choice right now. He is not ready to be HC at a big time school. He's still learning how to be an OC. Right now Les Miles would be the best and safest hire and nobody else is even close. Tee may be a great HC one day but not right now.

Is Currie's phone paid for by the University... If so, isn't it considered state property and the records could be requested under a FOI request?

Gruden is a dramma queen with how he never said no flat out I will never coach Ut . Instead he went on Seattle raidio singing rockey top. What a sissy. Just say you love rockey top and all, But Im happy doing my job. Give that brat a pacifier stupid doll

I understand that and that's why I recommended it shift to Tee... keeps the gang/thread alive but the awesome energy pivots to someone with a really similar stack of characteristics: Tennessee guy, recruiting monster, VFL/Fanbase uniter.... and a similar dependency on needing a badass staff to really succeed. AWESOME look for Tennessee and it's fanbase...

If the Gruden Love Fest was converted to a Tee Party, holy crap that'd be fun

(BTW, my avatar is from the original Gruden Frenzy - I've still held on all this time...lol )
