They always go cheap and they never do what it takes to win. They suck. All they care about is money so I hope they lose it for their dumbass mistakes. Eventually they will pony up and make a hire happen. They are always worried about not paying over market value but we just paid CBJ $29m for 5 years. Do the math on that. We should have started this search at $6m per year and been willing to go up. Instead we went dollar store shopping again.

You are right..I am afraid if I quit coming on here, and just stop thinking about it, I will never be back...that really makes me sad. Baseball did this to me in the 90s and I almost never watch a game anymore. I didn't watch a single game this year, and I was never as emotionally invested as I am in Tennessee. It is, or has been a big part of my life. It is a bond to my pappaw and my dad's, and uncles and brothers and sisters tgat will hurt to sever. I hate those responsible for this.

You know just a thought here....Fulmer wasn't this mastermind of a coach. What made him great was his coordinators, I would have no qualms bringing Tee Martin back as the head coach but we HAVE TO HAVE 2 coordinators who can win. These past 2 bozos flat out suck and were the death of this program this year.

Tee reminds me so much of Fulmer. He's kind of got that good old boy charm. I really think he could have that presence where he shows up at the end with a kid and the other coaches just shrug cause they know it's over.

The hope is that he will surround himself with high level coaches that he will trust to run their own show. He's gotta find his Cutcliffe and Chavis. It doesn't have to actually be Cutcliffe and Chavis. But somebody he can grow with that can focus a little more on the X's and O's while he builds the army.

I can roll with Tee cause the blueprint is there for him to succeed here. But he's got to find his coordinators. They likely won't be former Vols and I'm perfectly fine with that.

They don't have a choice tho. To attract assistants with impending sanction they have to pay through the nose.

Yep. AV and Baldy both said as much. I’m done with Tennessee at this point. Until they prove they’re willing to win or get rid of the Haslams I’m out. It’s just not worth it. There’s plenty of other great university’s willing to invest into their programs.

I can’t believe they thought this would just fly over fine with the fan base.

Not sure where to go from there. Someone no one has ever heard of probably. I haven't said it very often but a "Google Coach". Funny a few days ago people were thinking if Brohm or Pruitt as Google coaches......

It's hard work being a Vol.

Cowherd made a great point today. If you’re considering hiring a guy like Greg Schiano then why not leak his name to a local media guy or even Clay Travis to get a feel for how it will play out (which you would’ve seen very quickly). You cant be this secretive about a guy with a checkered past.

Hubbs talked about him for a month. No one thought he was a serious candidate.
