People need to quit with the Kiffin noise. It's just click bait sports journalism fodder. He's a great click driver for those lazy hacks.

If you think Schiano damaged the brand, trotting out Kiffin would iceberg the Titanic. It would fracture the fanbase and send it to the icy depths of the northern Atlantic. And I'm not sure there'd be enough submersibles in James Cameron's toy chest to bring it back up. Too many hate him.

Taking Vol out of it I'm taking Brohm. i trust his ability to fully install his own offense and run it at a high level over Tee. I like some things in brohm. He normally runs high tempo but slowed it down this year at Purdue because his team wasn't ready for it. He seems to accolades his system and style to the players. He always had a slew of RB at West Ky that it didn't matter if he got to 3rd or 4th string they still performed at high level.

Tee for me would need to hire a great OC and D.C. And let them run their stuff so he can focus on CEO. Tee hasn't ever installed his own true offense. He is running heltons. He coached Kiffins before that

I'm good with both but if I was picking I think the floor is higher with Brohm based on HC experience

I hope Kingston is right and this is announced tonight. But I’d think we’d be seeing leaks about it by now, wouldn’t we? We started seeing leaks yesterday at like 2

It should. It might happen again if they try to trot out another bs hire.

They have to figure out what drives this fanbase. So far they seem totally incapable of that and it will likely cost some of them their jobs.

Decision hasn't been made yet but I believe it could be made tonight. At that point I think it will leak.

Announcement tomorrow.

I rallied against it because it was a terrible, tone deaf, cheap, lazy hire that was forced thru by the same booster who has ruined this program for years and executed by the AD candidate who never should have been hired in the first place!

The PSU stuff alone is reason enough to not hire him. But so was his resume and history as a coach.

I didn’t do any research on the PSU cause frankly I don’t need to. Someone testified he knew and it wasn’t proven false. If that’s part of the required vetting then we shouldn’t even be considering it.

Hi I’m volsnvikes and I twittered in anger yesterday. I admit that the true anger started because I didn’t want Schiano. (And It was not because I was expecting Gruden since after the Calhoun’s debacle).

Schiano the coach looked exactly like Butch. Possibly good recruiter and Type A jackass that would over control everything. And I got mad at the AD.

Then I found the PSU stuff from the Washington Post article. And I thought. Well crap this is even worse than I thought. And I got Angry.

Then my 14 year old son who only wants UT gear for chrristmas asked me if he was a good hire or not and the cammel’s back broke. And I was furious.

I told my son no he wasn’t a good hire and in fact he was associated with a cover up of something terrible at PSU.

I saw a mob with twitter forks and I grabbed mine and followed suit.

I was ashamed to tell my son who the coach of Tennessee was for multiple reasons and that pissed me off.

Today I’m better and will promise to accept whoever we choose to be our next coach with open arms.

(Provided he has never aledgedly murdered someone or been involved in killing puppies)

I want a no drama guy, and a coach that can win with no baggage. Bringing us back together will be cured by winning. We making this a lot harder than it has to be. Heck we gave Butch almost 5 yrs so it's not like we don't know what going on. We understand if the guy can coach we'll give him time to be successful, at least we have in past. BUT we can also spot BS pretty quick. We have all kinds of folks on here with different strengths and weaknesses so BS is spotted pretty quick. What this Admin has been putting out is BS. We ain't asking for moon (well we would love to have it) but we dang sure deserve better than what they are trying to sell us.

we can argue over who, but there are still good coaches out there=--

Brohm, Venables, Campbell, Taggart, Miles, Leach, etc.....

GET ONE OF THEM
