I’ll take one million and give the best cordinators in the country what ever the want to run offense and defense. Let them bring they’re own guys to coach. Let me recruit and do media events. We will kill it.

Oh and just a friendly note. Please don’t vet me because my background is full of skeletons. Nothing like Shiano but I use to slay the ladies. Lol

Don't complain when someone rebuts your very general, and incorrect, take.

Agreed. It's going to take the other boosters stepping the hell up and increasing their donations and influence to a level they're probably not comfortable with.

Status quo is why we're here. They were all too happy to give $1 million one-time donations for skyboxes and seats at the table while the Haslams donated huge chunks of change every few years in exchange for complete and total power.

I'm just a peon telling rich guys how to spend their money, but something has to be done if they ever want UT to be relevant again.

Jimmy Haslam is only in his mid 60s. His dad is in his late 80s and still kicking. We might have another 30 years of this. Gotta do it now.

Stop apologizing. I won't blame fans for having hope. Only for lying to other fans. Most of us didn't really know how bad this situation was. Now we do, and we have a pretty good idea who the culprits are.

Anybody we hire right now will want a steep buyout. That’s a huge problem, but it is what it is. It’s probably less about the money even than trying to insure you get a fair shake at having enough time to win. You don’t put your promising career on the line to come to UT unless you can somehow mitigate your fears about being here long enough to see it through — you do that with a huge buyout that (1) makes it hard to fire you and (2) sets you up nicely financially if you do get canned and crash your career.

That "embarrassing" petition ended up with us getting Barnes and being in a much better spot than we were with that fraud Cuonzo.

Maybe this "embarrassing" situation will end similarly, with us in a much better place a couple years from now (hopefully not with a Tyndall saga in between this time).

The only thing that would keep Brohm from this job is the UT admin. There are big money booster issues everywhere. As already posted by others, clear the decks internally and announce Fulmer/Blackburn teaming up to deliver a real athletic department. Majors and his lingering supporters can take a hike.

It is a prize of a job waiting on the right guy to seize the moment and be embraced by a loyal, starved fan base. They all know our rules as a fan base now. Handle your personal business and relationships well, recruit and develop well, win football games. For the right guy that is a dream job.

That’s not even what Sto was saying. Nobody is saying he gave out misinformation (now, we were saying he had no clue before all this came out). We are saying he had good information because he gets it from the man running the show, but he is handcuffed in the way he can present information. Sorry if that wasn’t what you were trying to say Sto.
