How is he still here?

I have sent an email to just about every single email UT email address I could find.

We got to stop the cancer to our program.

Really is something we haven't heard anything from anyone that matters.

For the record, I'm in the Gruden thread and I am Gruden or bust. Maybe I'm stubborn or just naive. Maybe I should've posted in the Brohm thread (is there one?). Just sharing what others may have missed. I CHOOSE to believe the positivity this thread has brought during the roughest patch in UT football I have ever experienced.

Gruden is no friend to Tennessee. If he was, he would have nipped this rumor in the bud. Instead, he greedily sit back enjoying the publicity. I have no respect for him.

This via Swanson in RF.

If this happens this Boosters don't have a backbone. We don't need a quick hire. We need to fire Currie and tell Haslam to go to hell
Bring Tee in as coach. We need Tennessee blood back in the program. Players not going to respect Brohm as coach

Thanks, it was me who asked.

So there is an Athletics committee, of which Charles Anderson is chair? vs a member?

Does anyone know FOR SURE who's on that? I tried searching a year or two ago, and I found nothing.

I still want to know who has their fingers in the pie.

What if he just wants to be a fan?

Care to elaborate on whats not good? That could have so many meanings right now lol

Yep, I am still in shock. How did it get to this?

Based on anything you've heard, necessarily?

What I heard from my guy as long as we have Currie he doesn't think we get anybody that can coach... he is still angry and wants Currie fired, does not know if it will happen

Did not give me much hope nor any solid information..sorry it took so long to get back... FH business called me away again....

While I understand the sentiment behind this, I don't think that cures all ills. It may provide some soothing to our wounds temporarily, but I really don't give a crap where the guy is from if he can win and do it the right way. I think where you need "Tennessee blood" in is administration.

This exactly. I'm sure his son is thankful to him for squashing this a long time ago (sarcasm).

Keep in mind that it's possible Currie never pursued him and he was actually waiting on it to happen. It's possible that some boosters and VFLs were working with him behind scenes, but the AD and Haslam had their man and botched it. That may be why he wasn't denying anything.

I don't understand how the media doesn't understand us not liking Schiano is about more than football. How are we the bad guys here?

The media, in most part, are liberal. We are in the south so we are a bunch of toothless inbreds who dare to argue with them. We should know our role and take whomever they say we should have. If it were Michigan saying no to schiano then they would be heroic in standing for morals.
