Folks while you're sitting on your backsides complaining here, I hope to hell you're making you voices heard by sending emails. I can assure you, I practice what I preach, it started at 3 a.m. this morning. We can't move forward with a coaching hire until that SOB Currie is fired...as well as his accomplice Davenport. You cannot convince me her ars didn't know what the hell was going on. Send the emails!!!!!!

I agree. I already sent some as well, as I know others have as well. Fill their inbox up and let them know how you feel as a fan and a supporter.

Poster on TOS claiming Brohm could happen soon. JAV saying he has received texts from a booster type and employee hearing similar chatter.

TIFWIW.

Dan Patrick said "Tennessee is no longer a big time job by any means, and I wouldn't touch that job after what has just transpired"

He wasn't on the list anyway. FWIW I guarandamtee that 99% of the people bashing us now would tell you that Roy Moore should drop out of the Bama senate race. Everyone has an agenda. Our agenda is to have a great football team. Those jackholes wanted us to sit down, shut up and swallow a marginally successful candidate who is known to be hard to work with and who happens to have a hot button skeleton in the closet. If Schiano is so great and clean, why isn't anyone else making a run at him? We dodged a bullet. Yay for us!

guys it's time to shut this thread down and move on, like you broke up with your girlfriend of 4 years. Tears will fall, hearts will be broken but it's time to heal. The first step is taking down this thread.

Good point, but not until there is a coach behind the podium. And, hopefully Currie isn't the one announcing him/her/it.

Our football program is at Defcon 1. It is bigger than Gruden, Schiano or any coach.

Give the HC to Fulmer. Let him hire all VFLs as his coordinators and position coaches.

Time for Orange & White blood.

Before this gets away or deleted, I’ll begin a thread for us all to congregate and call it something clever. It’ll be the Gruden thread without the harassment of trolls. Whenever the time comes that these threads get archived, I’ll post it. Sound good?

Just make sure we know what it's called. Not all of us are clever :p

He is right.

This is why no one else wanted Schiano. They knew it was a no win situation to even talk to the guy after the Washington Post story from last summer. Either you end up defending your head coach in his first press conference over allegations of knowing of Sandusky's crime, or you end up defending yourself over unjustly accusing someone.

This is how stupid Currie is. Forget the moral question, which I think we are on the right side of. Currie flew a jet into an obviously no win situation where thre prize is .500 Big East coach with a terrible reputation for treatment of players. Its as dumb as it gets.

Here's a unique idea....if you think this thread should be shut down, leave.

There are lots of threads I have never been in. I'm okay with that. What kind of idiot would I be if I went into one of those threads only to say it should be shut down?

I have a bad feeling that Currie isn't going anywhere and we're about to see a very disappointing hire.

If they are letting him hire someone else, I'm not going to revolt on twitter. It will only confirm what the media is saying about us. Nothing is going to get better until Currie is gone and the Haslams are not making all the decisions.

I guess when people learn to read.

Thus my "TIFWIW" at the end of post. This is a message board where we relay messages. Believing is up to the reader.

Not calling you out necessarily. Just expressing my opinion on the info.
