Reading between the lines here... UEM confirms Jim and Schiano have strange sex party intertwined pasta and have a death pact.

Amirite or amirite?

Lol..nah. I just think they are really bad judges of character and have very little discernment when it comes to ability/talent.

Rob Lewis said as of 12:15ET no word on a presser for tomorrow. (This was in regards to a question about Currie speaking to the media.)

No, that's bull**** Currie. You wanted to fly around like a big shot, keep everyone in the dark including staff, boosters, and former players, go to the Bahamas, and not hire a search firm? Well you failed you absolute piece of irredeemable trash...and now you get to walk out to that ****ing podium tomorrow and answer for every ******n bit of it.

You think Currie will be fired?

UT looks for any reason not to fire people, and they always wait too long to let go of people they're better off without. If there's any way to keep him and hide him away, they will. But this may be too egregious for that. IMO, Davenport would like to kick him to the curb and will, if they'll let her.

Also, all these folks talking about national perception and battles and the war and what not...

We've been losing the war for years. We've been d***-punched since 2007. I'm fine spending a few more years getting punched in the d*** for this. Our AD didn't perform their due diligence and the fan base rose up and let their voices be heard. There is nothing more idealistically American than that.

I'm still a Tennessee fan through and through. I plan on attending as many games as is feasible next year to watch whoever they trot out as a coach. I will still live and die on every down like I always have... that's something I wasn't sure about for the couple of hours today where Schiano was our coach.

Exactly. No matter what happens, it's a win to not feel morally bankrupt from cheering for your team.

Get it done, Big Bev!

Someone on VQ made a good point when it was going to be Schiano. Said they took something that, while a lackluster product for a decade, was still fun and turned it into something that was morally and ethically questionable.

Well this was a ****ty day. Only positive is Schiano will not be our new HC. Tomorrow will be interesting.
Today was a great day. Hopefully the beginning of a new movement within volnation. If this emboldened some of the higher ups that it’s ok to stand up to the Haslams, then maybe we can enter a second golden era of Tennessee football. But first...#FireCurrie

Imagine watching Butch Jones tank this team and then thinking Schiano, who is basically another Butch Jones, could be Butch’s brother but worse, is a good replacement. That guy is your number 1. Tone deaf.
