Overthinking it. They see the Tennessee fanbase as being entitled, ignorant, racist rednecks. They don't waste an opportunity to **** on us. Even if it means defending a guy with an ultra dubious background.

They used to view Alabama fans the same way. They still do to an extent, but Bama fans are shielded by Saban and annual 12-win seasons.

We've been losing the war for years. We've been d***-punched since 2007. I'm fine spending a few more years getting punched in the d*** for this. Our AD didn't perform their due diligence and the fan base rose up and let their voices be heard. There is nothing more idealistically American than that.

I'm still a Tennessee fan through and through. I plan on attending as many games as is feasible next year to watch whoever they trot out as a coach. I will still live and die on every down like I always have... that's something I wasn't sure about for the couple of hours today where Schiano was our coach.

Reading between the lines here... UEM confirms Jim and Schiano have strange sex party intertwined past and have a death pact.

Our AD effed Schiano today, right or wrong. He could be completely innocent from our moral outrage perspective. It was bad on our part, real bad. Glad it failed but this was no clean victory.
