1. Not a HC. Any of three could end up good but we are absolutely not in that position. Being a great coordinator doesn't equate to being a great HC.
2. See reason 1 again.

That’s bad logic. Rams are really regretting hiring Mcvay same with the bills and McDermott. Georgia with Kirby Smart...

Currie is a ninja. Gruden’s a done deal.

This fan base is the most dysfunctional in the country, and it isn’t close. This is so depressing.

If the contract wasn't finalized then how can we owe money? MOUs are nonbinding, coaches have backed out of those all the time.

This fanbase gave derek dooley a year more than they should have and butch jones possibly 2

The 'unrealistic expectations' thing has just been repeated so much people believe it. Folks here have been beyond reasonable.

Wait, is Currie claiming he only vetted Schiano up to his days at Rutgers and had no idea he was even at Penn State?

That’s grounds for termination.
Mr. I don’t need a search firm ... geeez

I think we are on crack if we let him out of the office again. Let him mop and clean windows until we find a way to fire that dumbass.

His start to being AD could not have gone any worse. If it's me I wouldn't have let him back on the plane Knoxville. But I think the university will give him one more shot but he is in a precarious position. He has screwed this up since October.

I’m all in on Tee. I don’t think anyone else will touch this thing at this point and we need to ‘cruit.

Oh and fire Currie. I thought he was an idiot not firing Butch after Georgia and today confirmed he is completely tone deaf.

*cough* Jiminy Hyams *cough*

EDIT....

It’s a fake story from a troll account.

SORRY.

We could fire Currie without cause and have Fulmer step in as acting AD right away. He's already on board and athletics is within his purview. We could bring in Blackburn or Davis, figure out the structure and roll. It's possible Currie will want out and will hold us up for money, too. Sexton will play hardball on the MOU. UT is going to take an unprecedented hit for this-- financially, in the media and in recruiting.

Yep - it's circle the wagons time with real VFL's. Somebody needs to make Jimmy write the check to get out of this mess he created and to stay out of the next AD hiring process. They really need to move away from dependence on that family. They are toxic. There are adequate facilities without trying to make a beautiful, now worthless stadium into a palace. As Ziti said - invest in the people more than the real estate.

They need to realize they are killing Tennessee football. That makes them the enemy. Don't think they want to be that with how our fan base handles things when they get angry.

1. Mike McQuery testifed that Tom Bradley told him another coach - Greg Schiano - was aware of possible child abuse. Tom Bradley has denied this.

2. Anyone who thinks Tee (2 years of coordinator experience; nothing else) would be a better coaching option than Greg Schiano is completely delusional lol.

Whewwwww I didn’t wven look at that.
Honestly I’m ready to believe that Currie helped OJ and AC commit those murders in Brentwood

Waiting forever to fire Butch, while our season was imploding is another fireable offense. Currie doesn't have a clue.
