All due respect.....poor Johnny beginning to have a little memory and health issue.

This is not true, in the least. John and Mary Lynn were at our place for the 4th of July and he is as sharp as a tack.

He has gained a few pounds, but his health is good and he's still very active. He served as President of the Nike Coaching Clinics this past year and may still be serving. His schedule is more than I could keep up with and he's got nearly 20 years on me.

I seriously doubt John said any such thing.

Yeah but why would they be afraid of us being right? I mean I get the "I don't want to believe it because I don't want to get my hopes up argument" but actively not wanting Gruden to be our coach?

Knox News now reporting that UT is turning their full attention to Mullen after backing off Campbell due to his buyout. Who's their source? Mark Schlabach! LOL. The national guys should have even less of a clue than the local guys. Even more evidence that Currie has done a fabulous job of keeping literally all of the media in the dark. Ole Jimmy may actually know more than these guys and that isn't saying much!

I’m not a troll at all. I’m die hard Tennessee no matter who they hire. I will not waiver and I will never try to stage an empty neyland movement. I 100% back those kids and that program. My confidence in the powers to be are a little different however.

This does not just apply to Gruden, but any coach, the NFL is hard to sustain success or even have any success for that matter. The salary cap and draft which the coach usually does not have the final decision in limits getting better talent than other teams. College obviously if you can out recruit, you get the best players.

makes no sense. Campbell's buyout hasn't changed - it's been known the entire time. So (IF) Campbell was ever really in play it makes no sense that the buyout would now be an issue. More smoke to cover for the white whale.
