I may be only one who does not know who Austin Thomas is

GM at LSU and was at USC for a few years before that. Started here as a recruiting intern for Fulmer then worked on the Kiffin staff. Very important for recruiting and player management.

I dont understand infatuation with this guy ( won’t type his name)!!! He has three 9+ win seasons in last nine years. He!!, Botch had five 9+ win seasons in same time period. Anybody wanna hire him back?

Refute my logic, it's the only scientific way:

1) There are probably more coaching changes this year in the NCAA top tier than there has been in a long time
2) $ just keep getting bigger
3) We need a coach
4) We're spending 340mil on a stadium upgrade
5) We've been out of the running even for the SEC East for the last 10yrs (or more, give or take)
6) This SHOULD be an easy fan based decision as well as an economic decision, both point in the same direction
7) From the looks of what all has transpired this season, we're going to do the right thing
8) We won't know for sure until we know (that's the hard part now that we're down to the final hours)

9) AD doesn’t hire a search firm.
10) AD taking a week out of the country during his solo search.
These are the most telling bits of info to me. No way can a vacation be justified right now. If we had a search firm then ok go take a few days. While they do the heavy lifting.

Your an idiot! When he got to Washington it was all to pieces. Last season they was in playoffs and this season they wasn’t that fare way from it. Also look at Boise State and beat the Oregon’s, VT’s when they was both good and beat Oklahoma in a classic game. Not too many coaches can do what he did at Boise State with 2-3 star players.
