I have to say, the thing that gives me the most doubt that it’s Gruden is the ever changing timeline. We kept hearing how Currie wanted a coach in place within a few days after firing Butch, and that was before Butch’s rumored firing kept getting pushed back. And now that he’s gone, the time for a possible announcement continue to be delayed. The excuses are honestly getting weaker by the day.

I took the timelines as being opinions, not fact. Currie didn't give a timeline, so no one really knows.

Made the mistake of reading his blog. :sick: I am more convinced that he is clueless... His comments don't even make good common sense. He believes a coach will be possibly be hired by next Tuesday, but Currie really hasn't talked to or interviewed anybody? Right... He obviously believes that UT is a mediocre school and the best they can do is a mid-level talent coach. That's the only way he can possibly swallow the mis-information is is being fed to him by whatever "contacts" he has in the AD.
