Miss my Mom's dressing and her fried corn. Nothing better. And my Dad's yelling at the TV when we would watch the Lion's play their Thanksgiving day game. Happy Turkey Day Gruders!

My mom made dressing with duck instead of turkey or chicken, awesome is the only description I can think of

Grude Morning, Grudenites!

What a glorious Thanksgiving Eve morning it is..We certainly have a lot to be thankful for like family, friends, and of course Gruden..The Gruth is that he is coming and there shouldn’t be any doubt whatsoever..

Just want to go ahead and wish my Grudenite Family a very Happy Thanksgiving..Be safe and have a great day..Brighter days are in our future..

SOON

:3cheers:

I saw when I caught up this morning. I'm still thinking on this.

Admittedly, my mental fortitude has been smoked like one of Beaver's Cuban cigars. I don't even know anymore.

The more I ponder it, I still come back to a booster(s) and Beaver/his cohorts, or agents. I've made sense of the first one, the latter one needs a lot of work, and even it may be entirely off base.

"The program and university did a great job of releasing their smokescreens over the last week and enforcing the hush command to those in the inner circle who had been chirping to their most trusted associates.

They also effectively imposed their will thru a lot of the local and national media. Examples are Hyams, who has said that Gruden is absolutely not happening, and then some others who have written articles questioning Gruden’s potential effectiveness at the college level while hilariously claiming that UT had very little desire to pursue Gruden.

I’m going to continue to take it easy on here while we all wait for the inevitable. Can’t wait to watch the basketball team tomorrow against a really good opponent to temporarily satisfy my intense need for some winning action from the University of Tennessee and an opportunity to embrace the pride that I hold in my alma mater.

I look forward to the next several weeks, though. I plan to forgive anyone and everyone who asks for forgiveness for blindly and shamelessly attacking my character and moral fiber. Thankfully, the good Lord always supplies me with all of the strength and perseverance that I need, and the past few weeks is no different.

To my brothers and sisters of Vol Nation,
We draw near to the time when we will gather together, laying down our swords at the feet of our own enemies; the enemies that we so falsely made during the seasons of hardship and repeated failure which caused us to lose sight of the prize and to forget the responsibility that all those who came before us entrusted us with as Volunteers. We will give tremendous thanks and gratitude for the blessings that the good Lord shall soon bestoweth upon us, and we will join hands in harmony, together singing the words of our cherished anthem, joyfully singing on high:

“Rocky Top you’ll always be Home Sweet Home to me. Good ol’ Rocky Top (WOOH), Rocky Top Tennessee.”

This thing is really going to happen!!!!

Said wooh, fake news

My family didn't particularly care for the traditional thanksgiving meal, especially since it would be repeated so often throughout the holidays. So we would do a theme meal each year. My favorite was the year we had a luau.

I miss those.

That's creative and cool.

My wife is Peruvian, so we get to combine my family's traditional stuff with Peruvian foods from her side and our friends at Thanksgiving. It's amazing.
