The people who say GRUDEN hasn't recruited since 86 and he doesn't care for it are delusional. He'll have recruits lined up all the way to Friendsville begging to play chucky ball

So about just_a_vol..... he’s apparently the top dog insider on 247. On two separate occasions he has said Gruden turned us down. Once was about 6 weeks ago, the other was last Friday.

Here is the post from last Friday:





What I’m struggling with, is here is his post tonight.....







Sooooooooo........ he knows Gruden isn’t coming for sure, but no one knows anything nor would post it to a message board. Especially not the guy who posted to a message board saying Gruden isn’t coming.

Totally agree, he won't have to beat the path like CBJ, recruiting is only 1/2 the equation, if you can't develop players what good is recruiting ? NFL farm team ? Let's just win baby.......

It's not podium time yet, but I want to say something for anyone who'll listen.

I just popped in here one day to see the Grumors. I ended up meeting some people who were very kind and I stuck around a couple more days. Then MIT and Bubba showed up, which has me still here a month later.

During the last month or so I've met some amazing people with big hearts, kind words, and always willing to give a prayer for anyone who needs it.

Unfortunately, there has also been the opposite. Hopefully that's just smoke and misdirection. I like to believe this fan base is better than that, especially to each other.

Vol Nation things look promising, but we need to come together. Also, believe in something. Believing in the seemingly impossible will always be more fun and more daring.

Thank you everyone for accepting me with open arms. I'm cutting back on my time here, but will definitely be around here and there, and when our new Coach is at the podium.

It's time for the holidays, and time to give my boys and my very patient wife the attention she deserves.

I used to work in the masonary biz we laid 3 thousand brick a day. That moron didn't lay **** in 5 years

Thanks for your many insights, Hawk! This is a truly amazing fan base and we should all be proud Vols when the Grude takes the Hill!!

I helped tear down and carry the goalposts after the Auburn game in '85. We eventually took them to the OCI where they remained for a lot of years. We got free drinks for bringing them in.

I was in the last rows of Neyland for that Vandy game, and it was cool seeing the posts come down from up there.
