No. Just because a guy does well at one level doesn't mean he'll do better another.

Rich Rodriguez had West Virginia looking like a national title contender. He parlayed that to a job at Michigan and was fired 3 years later.

Just because a guy does well at a lesser school doesn't mean he'll do better at a big time school. It has nothing to do with the school. It has to do with the coach.

The gruden dream needs to end. If he were going to be the coach it would have already been announced. Currie would be a damn fool to just sit on news like that with the early signing period a few short weeks away.

I think what hurts Frost is timing. If you want him you have to wait and you better be willing to take most of his staff. He beats USF then they are in championship game vs Memphis. If he beats both then likely a big bowl game invite. He will want to coach those games. It's probably best for future school in long run that he coach and win all 3 and his name i becomes hernan level hot.

Early signing period hurts bad here

Again you’re not looking at the context. Rich rod was one of the first spread guys. He had to flip the entire roster to move away from Carr’s pro style players. He improved each year but it wasn’t fast enough so they fired him. He never really got to utilize his QB which was Denard Robinson

My health has improved significantly, my wife is truly my best friend and my kids are making me really proud.

The coaching search is about the biggest concern in my life at the moment and for that, I'm grateful.

I think Saban would still win.

I don't think Alabama is overflowing with talent like many believe. They have great depth but their top end talent is not that much better than Miss State.

Just look at the NFL. Dak Prescott, Fletcher Cox, and Chris Jones are better than anybody from Alabama outside of Julio Jones.

Saban's talent at Alabama is extremely overrated.

We never got a sincere moment of honesty and inspiration like this from Butch. His process was all talk. He proved that over time.

The more I learn about Matt Campbell the more I think he could be the one.

Factoid: Campbell's passing game coordinator/QB coach was QB coach at the University of Tennessee in 1989.

tennessee is trash compared to AU right now. The two arent close. Right now we wish we could just score an offensive touchdown and stop the run better than a high school team. They would beat us by 40.

We have had so many coaching searches at TN and not one of those had all the main local media talk so much about other schools and have no info on the school they cover. They also all say different things. It's basically either them playing games or Currie playing games leaking different fake and true stories to see who he can trust to not leak info

Not if Gruden told him that's how he wanted it to be.

Gruden is all about respecting the coaches. He knows that his hiring would create a circus both in Knoxville and at other schools where he is rumored to be interested in assistants.

Who cares about right now. Historically and moving forward Tennessee is a better program than Auburn.

We shouldn't be looking at hiring coaches inferior programs from us fire.

The only fired coach Tennessse should ever interview are guys fired from the NFL.

I’m pretty sure We are bottom 3 in the sec in win % the last 10 years. That’s all the matters in today’s football.

Feldman says A&M swings for fences with Jimbo Fisher. Mentioned Gary Kubiak.

Says Tennessee and Gruden not too far fetched but unlikely and puts the actual hire in bad position. Said Mullen is great hire but fans will be disappointed. Nailed it

Only a small percentage of fans are realistically all in for Gruden. Just get a good to great coach and win.
