I'm trying to be rational throughout this process. I'm not trying to call you out or put you down. I'm just curious as to what led you to "predict" Gruden would do something on MNF tonight. That's a very specific prediction. Just a hunch? Was that the plan and he got cold feet tonight?

The past month has been full of people making predictions from their sources about "tomorrow's the day" or "make sure your phone is charged tomorrow" and the result is people becoming more cynical and skeptical about Gruden being a legitimate possibility.

Thought I asked you to stop lying about what I said.

Specifically about MNF, I said IF there was a Sunday announcement (WHICH THERE WASN'T), that I wouldn't be surprised if they did something special for Gruden on MNF. And as basis for that, I SPECULATED that the MNF trucks that were oddly at Cedar Bluff might have stopped off to shoot some pre-production video.

See how that works? I never predicted either. I guessed. You and I discussed our reasons, and agreed to see what happened. Except now you're trying to say something that wasn't true.

So, I suppose by your logic, if Gruden isn't announced Sunday after Vandy, you are guilty of whipping up the posters here? Is that how it works?

No pete, I didn't play in school. Should have played Baseball, probably was good enough, played league ball since i was like 7. But, I had other interest at the time I guess. I was too small I thought for football. Wish I was the size I am now...i would be a formidable linebacker. I was Ranger in ROTC and went to Army from high school.
