Being vague to buy time IMHO. Butch Jones blew it at Mo. and AD had seen enough because I believe Gruden wanted CBJ to coach out the season but those type of blow-out losses could be affecting recruits. We have 7 decommits now and some pressure has to be building. All this, in combination is making the fanbase anxious. I still go back to Beav saying these things would happen. Hopefully ASAP after Vandy game we can have an announcement.

Interesting I heard something very similar w regard to allowing coaches to finish their seasons as well. Both current and potential future coaches.

Well their hires since Urban says differently. They got lucky with him. They never make HR hires and not sure they will this go around either. They will hire a Strong or Taggart type based off previous hires. Not sure Strickland hires Lane for the simple fact of he doesn't wanna add babysitter to his list of daily jobs.

We're in the quiet period...

There's really no news expected, not even leaks, until we're within about 6-18 hours prior to the press conference where the announcement is made...

Wanna talk about football? Daniella? Turkeys falling from helicopters at terminal velocity and whether they'd live through the drop?

I understand where you are coming from. I hope you are correct. I also appreciate your analytical insights that you bring. I am along that ilk. However, I do not think that AV was that ambiguous in what he said. Just like I don’t believe in hidden code in the Bible. If it takes a supercomputer to analyze AV’s post, we are all screwed.

I just think, as you stated, that most people are going to interpret AV’s posts in a way that supports their previously held beliefs.

People seem to be forgetting the "first plan" in what AV said. That tells me that there very well could be a second plan. Also, says that he is comfortable with it, but not all will be. Hes posting that in a gruden thread insinuating that not all would be ok with it the other plan.
To me, that seems as of its another coach because the only reason for people in here to not be "ok" with the other is if it isn't Gruden. Also, I'm all in on Gruden so no turning back for me now. 😁

Florida wants Frost but they want him to keep some of their current staff members. Florida is afraid Frost would bring most of his staff members with him and Florida doesn't think that will work in the SEC.
