The stuff about fans being an influence on a coach is a mighty load of BS. Any P5 school worth it’s salt is going to have a passionate fan base that will get very vocal if things don’t go well.

Reporters are absolutely terrible at coaching searches. Happens multiple times every year.

We will probably hear someone is a done deal to Tennessee only for it to be retracted.

Who knows if the booster is telling the truth.
I guess if I was a coach though, the fanbase reception and patience level would be at least a concern.

Two things I am most sick of hearing: How we will have to settle for Florida's sloppy seconds, and how we are the most awful fan base in the world for having high expectations. Never mind the fact that we still fill one of the largest stadiums in the country, even during this pst decade. And the fact that Florida ran off a guy that had just won his division in back to back years, not to mention them weasiling out of paying his buy out.

If the Grumors are such a detriment, then UT admin should have shut them down long ago.
