My takeaways from Atlanta's post:
1. Anytime you have a contract, or are working toward a contract, there are 2 sides, each with their own issues and timeline. It's much easier for us to speculate on Currie's timeline. From what I've heard, and what others have brought to this board, Currie wants to make the right move and wants it to happen sooner or later. But for Gruden (or ANY candidate) there are issues they have with respect to a timeline. We don't really know what those issues are with Gruden. The obvious hurdles would be MNF and ESPN, his endorsements, and his assistant coaching staff. But we simply don't know what those things are and how they effect the timeline.
2. For anyone to come on here and claim to have the answers or exact timeline is pretty foolish. It's fine to speculate and guess, but the more people who come in and drop lines like "Tune in around 4 tomorrow afternoon" or "Make sure your phone is charged on Monday" the more this forum gets whipped into a frenzy. Don't hang on any one person's every word. It's clear there's a very tight circle, and may not be very many people at all beyond Currie, who really know what's going on.
Be patient and enjoy the holidays. We will find out when we're supposed to. And I think we'll all be very happy when that day comes!![]()
I can tell you that it sounds a lot like Hart in 2012:
"I reached out to Jon Gruden in the process to set up a meeting, but word came back that Jon was very happy doing what he was doing and would not be coaching."

To me it's sounding more and more like the problem has not been the efforts of Hart and Currie but more that Gruden loves flirting and seeing what people thinks he is worth.
Im calling that this ends just like 2012 and our fans end up hating whoever the next coach is because it's not Jon Gruden. If nothing else the AD should come out and say "Jon Gruden has been contacted and we have met all demands but he keeps uping the stakes" which sounds to be true! This puts the pressure on Gruden to **** or get off the pot!
