To be clear, I'm not backtracking on what I've said previously about getting Gruden. I believe based on credible evidence that it happened. AV's post doesn't change that. Nothing I've heard or seen since then changes that. Regarding an announcement, it may not be today, but I believe that I made it clear that I was stating my own opinion on that.

I get that. I'm just not sure how you would come to the conclusion that you "think we get an announcement" and get a little special on MNF without it sounding like a prediction. I don't care what anyone predicts to be honest. We're not getting an announcement until after Vandy and I'll go on record saying it. It was never going to happen and won't. Carry on my man and have a great day!

He would only take his name out of consideration if a) he thought we were about to hire someone else (which is obviously not likely) or b) if he came to the conclusion they were not going to be able to work out the contract.

I haven't been able to catch up to all the pages this morning yet, but I had hoped something could go down if we lost the LSU game. Obviously, not today.

So, the only question left in my mind: is it Tuesday or is it after Vandy?

I said it wouldn't surprise me if we get something special on MNF. I referenced the trucks at Cedar Bluff and suggested the possibility that pre-production video was shot. Digital video doesn't expire on a certain date, MNF can have something special for Gruden whether it's 11/20 or 11/27, or whenever.

And I believe I was clear enough that my opinion on future events was just that.
