The only thing that kind of gets me excited about Norvell is that Memphis has like 7 or 8 FR or SO starters on D so those are his guys, not Fuente. He also has several SO's on offense starting on offense. Lots of FR and SO's in the two deep so he isn't just running out Fuentes guys.

I just choose to believe that Currie knows and gets how big this hire is. Now if Gruden, Kelly, Peterson, Frost and Paterson say no, he will be in a world of hurt and under great pressure. Not saying he might could pull from NFL but surely he knows a Bobo or a Brohm is a huge risk to bring in.

Saw on Twitter that Gruden will shutdown rumors on MNF and reaffirm that he’s staying with ESPN not a smokescreen. Supposedly AD wants Gruden to let us know so we can move on

I expect this to happen. I believe he seriously considered it and we pitched it hard, but Jon loves the NFL more.

If so, thanks for your consideration and best wishes, Jon. No point in burning a valuable bridge to the NFL for future UT players.

So Option B is on the clock if Currie has not already moved past him to Option C or D.

Even less likely that it would be announced on twitter that he’s going to do so.
