I will say for the 5th time- No way Currie gets a lower tier guy at this point with him saying he's swinging for fences and has a mint to spend.
I am serious when I say if he brings in a dud after all of this, Volnation will literally riot, he will get roasted, He will show everyone what a clown of a AD he is, and this program will officially implode.
Something good HAS to come from all of this.

I don’t believe (or don’t want to) that they will hire anyone with out at least 4 years of P5 experience as a head coach.

When they throw out names like this it reaffirms that they have no idea. This is a weak minded list. If the AD is going as big as he claims, then these guys (except maybe Mullen) never get close to being on the list.

He has done reasonably well but there is a fear he is riding Fuente's coat-tails this year.

Truthfully this would be a pretty typical decent list. VN ain't settling for typical this time.

I certainly understand that, but he has them playing better than Fuente and he has shown to be a better recruiter than Fuente was. I know it's a small window, but I think he would be a great coach.

Oh I doubt the program will implode...can't when it already has...
You have to get someone who wants to be here...you can't tie them up and force them to come..
At least with Norvell you should see plenty of offense..
You don't know how far down the ladder Curry has had to go already....

Also, I'm not saying Norvell should be who we go after. I would like to see us go after a Patterson or Peterson. I just don't see why one of them would want to come into this mess we are in. I hope I am wrong though and we hire them or someone of their caliber.
