I think we made the mistake hiring Dooley because we were too worried about a recruiting class. I think it’s much more important to get the right guy.

Absolutely.
Partially salvaging one class just to hire someone who can't coach them, makes no sense.

Saw on Twitter that Gruden will shutdown rumors on MNF and reaffirm that he’s staying with ESPN not a smokescreen. Supposedly AD wants Gruden to let us know so we can move on

Oh I agree. If we’re throwing around 10 mil a year we can get a lot better than either of them. As Ron said, Price putting those names out there has everyone going crazy.

We are some manic depressive fans for sure. When we go up on a grumor all th talk is “even if we don’t get Gruden, Paterson or Peterson are our backups! We are back.”

Then we get trolled by the COO of Calhoun’s (hard) and we crash back down. “I guess it’s Brohm or Bobo for us. We are hopeless.”

At least we stopped talking abou Fleck.

I just pray we have a truth somewhere between (closer to Paterson than Bobo I hope).

Maybe but they asked him to shut it down in 2012 and he basically said he didn’t start it. It’s good for him to have his name out there. I’ll be surprised if he says anything about it.

Agreed. They have been giving lip service to it for nearly a decade or else they would not be at the lowest of low points in the program's history today. It is way past time for them to back the words with provable actions.
