I would say both. Associated (i.e. being on MNF helped him get them), but the deals are his as Gruden Inc.

Clay is right... You dont dump a bunch of negative stories on a guy your not hiring... Why risk trashing a relationship with Gruden if you dont have to?

I went to the MSU vs LSU game with a buddy. Starkville is very rural. They get the left overs after LSU, Bama, and Ole Miss pick the state clean. They often compete with Southern Miss for in state recruits.

From this point forward, it doesn't matter who says he isn't coming.. It doesn't matter who says he is.. Now, it's a common sense issue. With Gruden on ESPN radio and what he said about Rocky Top, with Grudens love for UT and it's fans, with ESPN going down financially, with his son going to UT and him not wanting to make things hard on him, with Jon's wife going to UT and loving it here.. No announcement by either party (especially UT) at this point (if it wasn't Gruden) would be bad business to not let the UT fan base prepare for someone else.

Dec. 10th is 'Advent' day. A religious holiday.

The word "Advent" comes from the Latin word adventus, which means "coming" or "arrival."

Seems clear this means Gruden.

I absolutely do not understand the appeal of Tee. He isn’t that well respected or liked by the USE Fans, so his only value would be recruiting. Quite honestly I feel we can find someone else just as effective, especially if they get the recruiting power of Gruden’s name.
