And I think OrangePill's description of the dynamics of that particular decision is probably right on: Gruden wants it as late as possible (out of consideration for sitting coaches, both those at Tennessee now and those who might be coming to Tennessee with him)...while the University wants it sooner rather than later.

So the place where they came to consensus is probably something like a week from Monday, the 27th (or maybe the day before, or the day after). Could be earlier than that, could be this coming work week, in fact. We'll just have to wait and see.

That's all just a guess, but I think it's pretty well-founded.

So there's this new Pepsi flavor... Salted caramel Pepsi. My curiosity got the better of me. Got a bottle and mixed it with some Sailor Jerry. I must say, it's different. But damn if my glass won't stay full.

He smoked all the naysayers the other day on his show. It was from Thursday I believe (can find it on Outkick Facebook page).

I would say one problem has been the Corona endorsement deal - just a thought.

Gruden is in a difficult situation. The ESPN thing is not going to be there in the same way. Those endorsements are very much rooted in his personality as a MNF character. Without MNF he has no real Corona, Hooters, etc. It's time to coach. He knows that. Those companies will go younger for endorsements.

Agree with you. But I do have a question. Are his endorsements associated with him being on MNF or are they linked to his likeness. If associated with him being on MNF, surely that takes time, if associated with solely Gruden (not being an attorney), I would think those would be easier to get out of. Maybe an attorney on this thread could help answer the question.
