That team had some good pieces on it but I don't think that was a 9 or 10 win team. That was a patchwork o line that featured the Sullins twins.

10 may be a reach. 8 regular season plus the bowl is what should have happened. Team had some ballers on it.

Very high risk, high reward. Kiffin can win. It's all the other potentials that you would hold your breath about that is keeping him out of big time jobs (nah duh).

I guess I'm among the minority, but I still say the job he did at USC, with all the scholarship limits, and bowl ban, was just short of miraculous.

If he would mature a good bit, which is a big if, I think he'd do very well if he gets another shot at this level. Great X's & O's/In game coach, and a great recruiter.

Peterson is not a plan B for any circumstance. He is a top 5 coach in CFB. He has to be your #1 or you’re not even gonna get him to listen.

Would be really tough to move him from West coast to TN wouldn't it? You might think 10 mil would help motivate him.

He should of beaten Bama. (Still upset). We clearly weren't the same team at the end of the year as we were in the beginning. He developed Crompton into a good quarterback. His recruiting was great. His assistants were good from what I remember. And he just looks good this year at FAU.

I guess it was more of a hunch that he'll be good there at Florida but I remember him fielding a good team while here and he looks good on paper at FAU.

Let's see...his great recruiting class here....how many of those guys lasted longer than one year?

Hmmm...his great assistants....his dad, Special Ed (who tried to talk guys out of going to class)...his Brother in law who sent hostesses to SC to woo recruits... The DB coach who resigned at USC after getting in trouble with the NCAA...Eddie Gran who got the hell out of Dodge faster than Kiffin did....who else?

I'm not a Kiffin fan just calling it like I see it. However his immature personality has landed him where he's at. He could be a really good coach though if he ever grows up. His tweets though shows he hasnt.
