Y'all think Chad Morris is on the list? I know I keep bringing him up but he seems so much more logical than guys like Norvell or Brohm. I'm not suggesting he's near the top but the doomsday scenario should be no lower than Morris.

I don't think Morris would be that bad of a hire. Everyone loves Frost myself included and Morris gave him his toughest game yet.

He could go as well but I bet he's further down the board than Strong, Norvell and Mullen.

Hmmm. That's interesting. I really think teams will view him as an equivalent to Mullen and ahead of Norvell and slightly ahead of Strong. I think he could be a silent ninja in this whole process haha.

7-6 here and 7-3 so far at FIU...not exactly Vince Lombardi. Kiffin would be a terrible hire for UF. I would love for that to happen.

Gave away the game vs UCLA
Got embarrassed by Ole Miss
Didn’t even show up for our bowl game

That was a 9 or 10 win team. His time here is vastly overhyped.

He should of beaten Bama. (Still upset). We clearly weren't the same team at the end of the year as we were in the beginning. He developed Crompton into a good quarterback. His recruiting was great. His assistants were good from what I remember. And he just looks good this year at FAU.

I guess it was more of a hunch that he'll be good there at Florida but I remember him fielding a good team while here and he looks good on paper at FAU.

Very high risk, high reward. Kiffin can win. It's all the other potentials that you would hold your breath about that is keeping him out of big time jobs (nah duh).

I guess I'm among the minority, but I still say the job he did at USC, with all the scholarship limits, and bowl ban, was just short of miraculous.

By the way, FAU was 3 - 9 the last 2 years. They lost 3 out of the first 4, this his first year, but are on a 6 game winning streak. Not too shabby.

Post on page 78 (I think) in the Gruden thread where the poster basically says he is friends with a VFL that played for Gruden in Tampa and he acts like its a done deal. TIFWIW. I would post it in here but they are individual quotes and it is kind of a long post.

He was a lot younger and a lot less experienced is only argument against that. I think he's a solid coach now.

I think he's doing a pretty admirable job at FAU FWIW. Already won 7 games this year and has them in contention to win their conference title in his first year. This is only the 5th time their program has won 7 games in program history.
