These coaching searches will cause them to get rid of early signing period. Its awful whats having to happen and timing
Did Larry suggest we have something lined up if Gruden says no? Or that we would start the process then?
Lined up as in "have they kicked the tires" to see where they can go next?
If anyone, including Larry said no, I wouldn't believe it.
But it wouldn't be serious until they knew Gruden was a hard "no" and they did all they could.
The narrative does make sense. I am 💯% all in. My only question that has me going with babyvol's timeline instead of chattvol is the recruiting factor. If all the recruits were held off until Vandy weekend how can we make a pitch without a coach in place? If they wait til season is over, do they bring him Gruden in after the game ends and then break news late Saturday night/early Sunday? Seems they would want to break it at a time of day when they have a captive audience. Late Saturday after a potential loss or early Sunday when most are in bed or at church doesn't seem to fit. Recruits would be blowing up social media.Chattavol saying not until after season. Dont think the others have said a date before that besides babyvol have they? But yes those guys are full Gruden.
Y'all think Chad Morris is on the list? I know I keep bringing him up but he seems so much more logical than guys like Norvell or Brohm. I'm not suggesting he's near the top but the doomsday scenario should be no lower than Morris.
I've thought for a while guys like Ergen and Fulmer have been courting Gruden while Currie was left to scout and talk to the others. The best way to cover all bases.
