What's so funny? Everything he said makes perfect sense.

If there isn't gonna be an announcement until the end of the season you can bet there would be reports coming out that he said no after reports a few days earlier saying he said yes to quiet the noise.

I'll keep saying the exact same thing happened in 2011 with Urban Meyer almost to the day. After reports leak that a contract has been signed, there are denials on both sides. Then 10 days later a press conference is scheduled and the guys who said there was nothing to the rumors are saying here is our new head coach.

Until 11/26 I'm not believing any report this is over.

Maybe. Gets his guys names attached to the job. Keeps those guys' ADs thinking that the TN job is still in play. Throws some shade at a different agent's client. Serves a number of purposes.

lol at first I thought you meant Parton. I was gonna say if he broke the Vicky/Cindy Dollywood story, then all his credibility is totally shot.

Thankfully I'm just a lil slow on the uptake and realized you meant Fooley.

Wow which booster has their panties in wad to the point that they fed CBS a hit piece in Gruden....recruiting concerns? Wtf who has recruiting concerns? I get the rest...well if we did have Gruden good luck now
