Has been mentioned, but if this was the case, then why not come out and say he has no interest in coaching, but is actually helping to find the next coach. Would be simple and would put all of the rumors to rest.

2 names nobody is really talking about, don’t think they’re realistic, but would be homerun hires. Currie’s style.

I would almost bet that other than Gruden, if we’re talking about them, it probably ain’t who Currie is targeting

Thanks for sharing this. I'd like to think I haven't really been on anyone's side in this case but I think AJ is innocent. Such a shame for him if so. However if he is truly guilty I won't spare another thought for him.

My Dad, who is extremely well connected successful business person in Nashville, TN just had a friend of his who is deeply connected in UT send him a text telling him that Jon Gruden is officially the next Head Coach of Tennessee and presser will be today.

Once again just posting this not because I am promising anyone that its legit, but because this is what this thread is all about. No lying, not trying to gain e-cred. TIFWIW

Not sure about Knoxville. For Chattanooga, it would have been up there but not record setting.

They had to have that interlocutors appeal that frankly set a very good and necessary precedent for Tennessee.

I feel like I’m just gonna have to step away from watching this coaching search. I’ll just check Twitter and wait to see when it breaks whoever we hire. It will probably be some scenario where everybody is focused on Gruden and we hire Jim Bob Cooter or something
