I think differently on that. I believe if he can recruit on the level he does at Starkville and as competitive as he has his teams, he would have better recruits and better results here. I would love to get Gruden or Patterson but seems things have cooled on Patterson also.

Butch Jones was able to attract top 5 recruiting classes and stumble into consecutive 9 win seasons while being an incompetent nincompoop.

Jon Gruden is a super bowl winning head coach with arguably the biggest name brand recognition in the industry. He'll attract Nick Saban/Urban Meyer type recruiting classes and he'll have a top notch coaching staff.

Even if he's only average as an in-game coach, he'll have us winning 10-11 games each year with ease. And at the very least will have us in contention for a national championship. That's the FLOOR of results we can expect with Jon Gruden as our head coach. The CEILING is becoming the new Alabama and dominating college football.

I’m not expecting to hear anything. If Gruden did agree today do you really think LWS and all of the insiders would come out and say “hey, we got him!” tonight? There won’t be any indication from the big info guys like Hubbs, LWS, etc until it’s ready. Until then I just stay cautiously optomistic until I hear other wise.

Why would you think he would want Dale? All of his experience is at Appy State? What gives you any inkling he could recruit at the level we need here or develop linebackers? Tee has a great deal of experience at P5 schools and is a terrific recruiter.

I just don’t believe Patterson would leave TCU. Would take Peterson, but don’t think he’s leaving Washington

Probably won't be getting online after about 8 more hours.

Going back into Hill Tribe country, sleeping under the stars tonight. Hoping not to get eaten by a cobra or tiger, or whatever.

Yea I agree with you about Patterson and yea would love Petersen but seems some of these coaches just don't want to come to the South. Want to stay in the west coast.

Beaver throwing shade at VFL is so unbecoming. It pours salt into everything he's said so far for me. High level people certainly don't act like that, and sure, he could be a kid, but a kid could troll the life out of people with a little relevant info.
