Any vets on here or parents with young children who maybe don’t get a chance to go to UT games who would like to go to the LSU game this weekend? I would like to treat some folks if there is anyone out there that would meet that criteria.

No questions on Gruden front please. Sorry have not been around but things have been moving at a frantic pace and the process must be respected....and I have a duty to AD to uphold that at this point....

I emailed you after you responded to another poster

Atlanta VOL posted that for veterans and parents of young kids he’d like to provide some tickets for the LSU game this weekend. I’m on mobile and can’t dig up the post right now. Can someone else?

I reached out to him but haven’t heard back. His email is probably getting blown up right now.

oh wow, what a great gesture of kindness. awesome to do that... just wish I could take him up, trying to work on home and with a sick wife would be hard. but thank him very much for offering them....

No...no I haven't.😎

Was told earlier today that Gruden is in, wrapped up his staff yesterday and will be in Knoxville tomorrow. Source is very close to Fulmer and Haynesworth.
I'm not an insider by no means, more of a lurker, just passing along info I trust.
Fan away

You will be crucified, in here, if this turns out to be false :):)

Enjoy the ride....won't last forever.

'Boro, Do you think the Hiring process for the State is a factor holding this up?

14 day Requirement of Vacancy Posting.

Interview at least 3 potential candidates...Seems that during the Dooley and Jones hiring we officially interview some Tier 3 coaches to meet these requirements...

Lakesidevol on VQ..

"yes he is on campus and yes he has 100% reached out to David Blackburn for compliance and Dale Jones as a potential defensive coach"

This is getting very interesting.. IMO Gruden is wanting to put together a staff that would make Saban sh!t himself

No offense to Dale Jones but how is hiring an Appy St coach going to make Saban sh himself? If anyone else was hiring an App St coach for a staff position, they would be crucified on here.

I could get into that. I ride behind the dogs at Ames every year, but it's been a long time since I shot birds over a good pointer.

Most of the dogs are Llewellin setters specially bred out of Columbus, Ga. They are amazing to watch.

I don’t know if Gruden will actually accept the position as head football coach at the university of Tennessee, but I think there is some smoke.

I always believed the Grudenites were crazy and got a good laugh at the Grumours, but this time it feels different.

I am by no means a big time booster, but donate and have season tickets. I am friends and work for a big supporter of University of Tennessee athletics and he is telling me that there’s some mutual interest in regards to Gruden.

Some of the bigger supporters of the athletics departments and in particular the football program are being asked to dig a little deeper into their pockets to help facilitate a football hire.

Money will not be an issue. Other issues may arise but the money is there to make the right hire.

The numbers he is throwing around is in the 8-9 million per year for the head coach and between 4-6 million for his staff.
