Just thought of something for all the "Plane" guys. Has anyone been scouting Down Town Island Airport? Lot's of private planes come in and out of there. Just something to think about.

It's 3500 ft long. King Airs can make it in and out of there, but most Jet guys are going to balk at anything under 5000.
It is much lower profile over there though.
I do think if Haslam's planes are involved, they would just go to Pilot/FJ's hangar which is separate from Tacair at TYS.

Here Swain seems to be saying that coaches were contacted that Gruden is a NO

In one of his already posted replies, he said it was the football scoop article that caused his doubts. I think the pressure is causing him to crack like many other VN members.

Swain is as transparent as an open window. Go back and look at his twitter timeline. This morning he was all in on Gruden. At 9:10 am, he replies to a tweet and says he's "50/50 on Gruden...ball is in Gruden's court." At 9:54 am, he says it's "probably time to move on."

What happened between 9:10 am and 9:54 am, a span of 44 minutes? The Football Scoop story was published.

Swain is twisting in the wind like a politician. His desire to be right and his desire for more listeners is his motivation.

Look, I'm not saying Gruden is coming. I've always been skeptical. I'm just saying you can throw out Swain's opinion right now. He's righting the Football Scoop coattails...and Football Scoop is hardly a legitimate source. I've never understood why so many people hang on Swain's every word. He's a tool.

Scoop put out same story for Harbough to MI in '14 too..That is why I was wondering if he has the same agent as JG

It all seems a little fishy to me. Within an hour or so a majority of media types that were pushing the grumors hardest, just flip all at once, over one story. From a small website. Doesn't add up. I may be wrong be its all to convenient.

At this point, there is no way Currie would announce another hire w/o squashing the Grumors. If he announced anybody else w/o squashing the Grumors, there would be the potential for a full meltdown. Until Currie or Gruden's camp speaks up, I am full Gruden, regardless of what tweets, media, or "sources" say.

I don't understand how anyone considers him a big name? Look at his record.

Alex Smith, Chris Leak, Tim Tebow and Dak Prescott. He is coaching inferior talent to far better results than UT over the past 8 seasons. The OC for 2 BCSNC at UF. Urban couldn't hack the SEC after Mullen left.

Island home airport? Its closest to UT and Haslems have a plane there I know for sure cause I live right next to it.
