Since we are all in Lovie Smith's plane circling the airport waiting to land, I thought I would put together a list. I am NOT an insider and I have NO sources this time around. It has been thrown out the idea of an all-VFL staff. I thought it would be fun to have a "dream staff" scenario if/when the Grude is announced. Again, this is just a "fun" list. No insider knowledge.

Offensive Coordinator - Tee
QB - Sanders or Casey.
RB - Graham
WR -
OL -

Defensive Coordinator - Steele
DL - Hobby
LB - Jones
DB - Fair
Other D -

I need some help on filling mine in....or come up with your own. I would like to limit to people currently coaching....Phil isn't coming to coach Oline and Peyton isn't coming to coach QB's

If what was posted earlier is true, perhaps we need to look at Swain's relationship with Tee. If they are tight or even remotely tight, then it is likely Tee asked Swain to back it down.

Mullen is not nor ever will be equal to a Chip Kelly hire...

Everybody should really calm down and enjoy the ride. Gruden is not going to tell people that he wants the job. That would cost negotiating power. As for the assts... Coaches that are employed don't want it known that they want to leave. If it doesn't happen then they are screwed.

As for Gruden to Tampa Bay. There ain't a job opening. Unless Tampa fires their coach now, he would be taking a huge risk to wait, assuming he wants to coach.

Lastly, I don't think Gruden is trolling Tennessee. His kid would hassled unrelentingly by the redneck portion of our fan base. I also think Cindy would be a little pissed. And if mama ain't happy... ain't nobody happy.

If it is Gruden, it should not wait past today.

There has been plenty of time to work out the contract.

Recruits and fans are waiting and both will wain with needless waiting.
