CBJ contacting recruits proven false.

Its not suspicious at all. He corrected the context as it was misportrayed. Happens every single day and is normal for those that can view things objectively.

For those with a predetermined narrative, they will view it as you are.

Haha you have no clue.. I have no narrative pal.. this is all entertainment for me..

Yeah, he has backtracked on what was said and the context of the conversation.

Kids was borderline on losing his offer, i guess a recruited over thing, and CBJ was giving him a heads up on it to look at other school.

Ainge also said he confirmed that CBJ did not contact the majority of the current recruits.
LOL lost me at "Ainge also said" iirc you were a huge butch sheep a couple of months ago. Now I see why.

What so suspicious the kid said it, now he’s retracting it.. it’s not suspicious if the source is saying it, is it?

Depends on how you gauge the “source”. When said SOURCE is used by a certain radio show host with an obvious agenda? Consider the “source”. :)

Please show me one post where i called ainge a coward? If ainge was "breaking " all these old stories to smear cbj, i must have missed that.

Reading comprehension is a bit of a challenge for you apparently.

What I said was this:

Isn't Ainge part of that same media you spent most of the evening yesterday calling "cowards"?

There are posts of yours all over these threads calling the media cowards yesterday. You wrote them, I don't need to provide them for you.

What you're doing here is a textbook case of the confirmation bias you're complaining about.

Ainge paints Jones in a good light with no concrete evidence to back it up, you're OK with it.

I give you examples of reporting from multiple sources not painting Jones in a good light over the past few years, and you ignore it or throw out the coward comment.

No one broke these stories after Jones was fired yesterday. Many are dating back years.

Lol. Even when we get what we want (release of Jones) we have to beat each other up on how we implement the punitive “punishment phase” of our coach’s exit.

To requote the cliche... “THIS is why we can’t have nice things”

Peace out my Vol peoples. This is GOING to be a better week, regardless of the LSU game outcome.

Sir, you said: "Noone has cared about anything he has said for a long time. Its over, who cares, let it go."

Obviously, if you can't see that you care enough about what he said (or didn't say) to not let it go, then you ought not be telling others to let it go.

Nothing better than a good "Gotcha post". :bow2::swoon3:

Okay, ill type slow for you.

Was Ainge on the radio smearing CBJ yesterday?

The answer is no.

Therefore i wasnt referring to him.

Did i type slow enough for you?

Lastly, i dont agree with everytjing Ainge says. However, when he says he contacted several recruites and they were not contact by cbj to go elsewhere, i have no reason to believe otherwise. This is also backed up by a recruit who has now corrected the way his statement that was misrepresented.

Edit: ill add, several comments now from current and former players with good things to say about CBJ.

Yep some things did come out but the sheep media was quick to squash and twist everything. Leaving the sheep following the sheep in the dark. But the media that isn't attached to UT and butch was reporting on problems that were being leaked.

I follow your reasoning just fine.

You like the media as long as it suits your viewpoint. If it doesn't, they are cowards.

Add whatever comments you like. Those kids like Daniel and Calloway came away with good experiences playing for Jones. I am happy for them.

There are plenty more players and staff who didn't come away with a good experience working with or for Jones.

I'd be interested in hearing how Ethan Wolf feels today after he went to bat for Jones Saturday night and Jones declined to coach the last two games.

So, by your not letting it go, are you proving he did contact him, but only in a good way?

He preached it so why did he jus walk away the final 2 games.. maybe he was helping the University with finding a coach sooner who knows

On the players, sounds about normal for some to have good experience and other to have a not so good experience. Id bet that happens everywhere.

For Ainges opinion, (speaking only on contacting recruits) it has been backed up by several people including recruits. So yeah, ill go with that. If the recruits were still coming out saying what has been said is true, id believe that....but there not. Therefore, in this case, the facts support what Ainge is saying.

It is logically impossible to prove a negative.

You can prove someone DID something. You can never prove that someone DID NOT do something.

Bad example, because that's easy: you did not build the pyramids in Giza, Egypt. Yes, I can prove it. Show me your birth certificate.

The "can't disprove a negative" truism does have limits. Has to be used intelligently.

Is there something wrong with CBJ contacting a recruit? What has been proven false is the narrative about CBJ telling recruits to go somewhere else.

Whereas YOU, as a noted non-letitgoee must feel positively emboldened! But as such an advocate, are you limited by the eventual truth? Or whatever stirs your loins? :yuck:
