What did Beavers tweet mean earlier about stalking a horse or something- I'm several pages behind sorry!

A stalking horse is a figure that tests a concept with someone or mounts a challenge against someone on behalf of an anonymous third party. If the idea proves viable or popular, the anonymous figure can then declare its interest and advance the concept with little risk of failure. If the concept fails, the anonymous party will not be tainted by association with the failed concept and can either drop the idea completely or bide its time and wait until a better moment for launching an attack.

Guys, my friend logged on my account and typed that stuff to see how many GTFO’s I’d get. I’m just a die hard fan in West Tennessee who enjoys reading the info. And only created the account so I could see attachments and gifs. Good things are coming regardless, but let’s get #GrudenToTheHill. Keep up the good info and Daniela every now and then.

You can't undo what's been done.

An observation or three:

Eschewing a search committee or search firm is a pretty bold move. Inserting others into the process gives an AD a degree of shielding. Without one, it's 100% Currie's decision.

So he's clearly a very confident person. That's the first observation.

But he also has to believe he can come up with a new coach the community will applaud. Because, self-confident or not, his destiny is attached at the hip to this hire and that's a big rock in the ruck sack.

So he's got at least one big name already in his pocket. Bigger than Mullen, I'd say, bigger than Frost. If not JG, at least a Patterson level option. Proven winner who has already said he wants to come to Tennessee.

And that's comforting to know. Not as comforting as Currie walking into a press conference tomorrow to say the words Jon F'ing Gruden, but still comforting.
Agree. If he's processing at a high level, which is expected of an AD at this level, there's no doubt he's got alternatives if his main target doesn't work out for some reason.
But let's face it, the guy in that presser this afternoon has his guy. It's Gruden.

Everyday the Grudenites come in and we take care of our house and mow the grass. Then ever day here comes the trolls trashing the place and pooping on our beautiful grass. You don't poop on the cool kids yard. Just my anaogly of the trolls

Everyday the grudenites gather round their little campfire and feed it rumor and innuendo and wishful thinkin, but no facts. But still, their little fire flames up.

Every day people with rational minds tell the grudenites it aint happinin for you. And everyday those braindead grudenites go like: "You're mean ol trolls for pissin on our campfire".

So, is Mullen the stalking horse?
