Gruden is purportedly in Charlotte, but he caught a plane and had a layover in Knoxville.

It has to look like they at least talked to coaches.

Does it still stand that you have to interview x number of candidates before you make the hire since it's a state school? Maybe that's why their names of being thrown out there? Maybe? Please God MAYBE?!

Will take your word on that. I was told it was BAU when crews are in same city for multiple days arriving at different times that they initially stay wherever as they arrive on different days and then consolidate to same hotel night before. Probably depends on city and “availability”. You would know - I’m only going on what I have been told by hotel staff in Charlotte that are used by teams and national media.

I will say I've never worked on MNF but ESPN SOP is travel day, set day, game day, travel day. Granted some members are there. Day maybe two ahead of main crew but they get entire hotel blocks and typically at Hilton hotels 90% of the time.

My mother saw one of her Facebook friends post the picture. I told her to send it to me so I could post it. That's the absolute truth. I had no idea it was a joke. I've been on this site probably longer than most people and I got trolled the same as everyone else.
